Q:
Hours of Operation?
A:
We open April 13th, 2008. We close Sunday October 26th, 2008. We are only open on Sundays from 6:00 am – we stay open until all dealers leave usually 2:00-3:00 pm.
Q:
How much is a space?
A:
$25 per day, $85/month, $495/season
3 x 5 table rentals available for $3 each or feel free to bring your own!
A space is approximately 15' deep x 20' wide. Multiple adjoining spaces available, we can accommodate large trucks, buses, even 18 wheelers! We have spaces with shade and even some with electricity.
Q:
Can I get a specific space?
A:
Depends, spaces are given away on a first come first serve basis. So if you want a specific space come early. Only pre-paid monthly and seasonal spaces are guaranteed.
We do our best to honor your space request and we almost always are able to accommodate getting you to your desired area.
We do this because many people use to make a reservation and for an array of reasons (some legit, some not) did not show up the day of their reservation or they would show very late. Since we would hold their spot we had gaps all over the field and then would try to squeeze them into their reserved space as they arrived. The abutting dealers would see a gap and inevitability spread out a little making the reserved space smaller we would then have to move all the abutters back into their spaces usually juggling tables, cars, and items for sale. As you can imagine it never worked out well for anybody.
Q:
I am setting up as a vendor, how many cars can I take in my spot?
A:
There is usually only one vehicle allowed per space however we allow extra vehicles to enter and unload but they must be removed after unloading. Sometimes two small cars can fit into single space.
Q:
What can/can't I sell?
A:
No food sales, pornography, or anything otherwise illegal. If unsure, check with us first.
Q:
What happens if it rains?
A:
We are an outdoor, open air market so heavy rain shuts us down, usually best to call the morning of because it may be raining where you are but not at the Flea Market.
Note: Reservations are not carried over to the next Sunday, must call and re-book.
Q:
Can I bring my dog?
A:
I am sorry but no pets are allowed with the exception of registered seeing-eye animals.
Q:
Do I need a reservation?
A:
No, you do not need a reservation for a single space but it’s usually a good idea especially for a first time vendor. Reservations are required for a large group, over 5 spaces.
NOTE: A reservation guarantees that we will have a space for you! Only pre-paid seasonal and monthly dealers are guaranteed the same/specific space.
Q:
When is the best to arrive?
A:
As a vendor set up time is 6:00am – 8:00am. As a shopper come anytime we stay open till all the dealers leave, usually 2-3pm! Shopping is usually best early!
Q:
Do you have food/restaurant?

Shopping at the Hollis flea market is a great way to find everything from antiques to appliances, clothing, household goods, tools and toys as well as unique items and save money in the process. You can do everything from decorate your home to dressing for success all by shopping the Hollis Flea Market.
Think creatively when shopping. New uses for old items means unique decorative accessories: old balusters can become candlesticks or shelf supports, anything sturdy and big enough can become a coffee table with a sheet of glass across its top. Vintage clothing can become a chic new outfit or a costume.
Advice: Bargain with a light touch. It's half the fun of shopping flea markets but bargaining nicely often gets the best results. For example, a good strategy is to ask if the price is firm instead of immediately offering half the quoted price. Also, many vendors will give bigger discounts if you're buying several items at once.
